Time for fishing

It's the middle of January, the snow is melting a bit and the Steelhead are in the river. When we opened our new store we wanted to create an environment where fishermen and fishergirls could get quality fishing tackle and gear, but yet close to where they fish. We are minutes to Long Lake, Green Lake, Duck Lake, Mud Lake, Twin Lake, Platt River and Lake Michigan.

We also wanted to have top-quality fishing tackle from Michigan companies such as Dreamweaver, Blood Run, Mission Lures, Big Jon, Rapture Flies, RBM Jigs, Lake Effect, Nova Tackle, Warrior Lures, Moonshine Lures, and Big Reel Tip Ups. Having Michigan-made fishing tackle, lures, line, and jigs was very important to us and we will continue to grow our selection as our store grows.

We want to be ready to serve every fisherman who walks in the door. Whether they are walleye or smallmouth fishing on Long Lake, pike or smelt fishing on Green Lake, or steelhead or salmon fishing on Lake Michigan. We wanted to create a store where they could buy live bait, swap stories, buy quality fishing gear, and enjoy just hanging out.

TCH GEAR is where you can do just that. Centrally located in Interlochen Michigan, we are close to many popular fishing lakes and rivers. We have the tackle, we have the live bait and we have the knowledge to get you set up. Now it's up to you to get out there and make it happen. Get a rod, get some bait, and go fishing. Better yet when you do, take someone with you. Take a son, daughter, mom or dad. There is always something to fish in northern Michigan and we hope to be your fishing store!
